What foods are best for tropical freshwater fish, flake or pellets, and what brand?

I was using my tetra color fish, but others I've heard that Tetra is not a very good fish food. Is this the Aqueon Tetra fish food or fish for food better?
A Variety is the best. Tetra is better than Aqueon. Personally, I use Hikari micro chips for my Apistogramma and grouse. I sliced 2 to 3 times per day, then froze overnight. I turn to frozen between Daphnia, brine shrimp, mysis shrimp and cut into three parts. Echo worms in the mix, but Apistogramma not supposed to do well with them. You can also pick Pro Tetra some chips alternating with wafers for microprocessors, as well. Make sure you get vegetables here for Pleco. And see the rainbow, to make sure not to pick neon, as they get bigger.
